NALANI AND THE COAST CARE CREW
"Nalani and the Coast Care Crew" is an inspiring story about kids who care about their community and the environment. Nalani, is a 12-year-old girl who loves spending time at the beach. She's sad because her favorite spot is covered in trash! She learns that plastic pollution is a big problem for ocean animals and the whole planet. Instead of just wishing things were different, she decides to take action!
Nalani knows she can't do it alone, so she teams up with her friends Mateo and Aya. Together, they form the "Coast Care Crew," a group dedicated to cleaning up the beach and making it healthy again. They even come up with a cool name for their mission on social media – #CoastCare!
Follow their adventures that include friendly surfers, a grumpy fisherman, a major storm, and how they bring together their community.
This book was featured at the Guadalajara International Book Festival from November 30th to December 4th, 2024.
Adventures of Leobold and Murty
This is a children's book that I wrote in the style of Edward Lear (British 19th century author of "The Owl and the Pussycat"). I enjoy revisiting some of my favorite poems from the past and re-imagining them for the 21st century. I hope you enjoy it!
I have since expanded this to a series of four books with further adventures!
